Biography of Pastor Leonard E. Jordan

Leonard E. Jordan serves as Pastor of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church where he was born and raised. Before serving as pastor, he served as Commissioned Lay Pastor at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church since 1993. Leonard also served at Celica Memorial Presbyterian Church in Bowling Green, KY for a year (1998) and was the Chaplain at Monroe Harding Youth Home in 2002.

Before becoming Pastor of St. Andrew’s, Leonard served several Presbyterian Churches in the area as Pulpit Supply while they were without a pastor. Leonard is currently serving as the Moderator of the Presbytery of Middle Tennessee.

A native Nashvillian, Leonard is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and his ministry degree in pastoral studies from Louisville Presbyterian Seminary.

In addition to his ministry, for the past 20 years Leonard has owned and operated an insurance agency in the Antioch area and is a Life Underwriting Training Counsel Fellow. Although his office and his church keep him on the move, Leonard is involved in many community organizations. He is involved with the Una Recreational Center where he coaches youth football and the Steel Throwers Track Club where he is a USATF Certified Youth Track Coach and an Association Official. Leonard is a sponsor for YOUTH ABOUT BUSINESS and Family Foundation Fund, which are mentoring programs for young men.

Leonard is married to his beautiful wife, Gloria, and they live in Antioch with their three children—Leonard, II, 18; Donovan, 16; and Laura, 14.
